Acreage Management and Field Services

Russell Ranch provides agricultural support services including acreage management, labor, and equipment used for a variety of research, extension, and teaching activities.  Acreage fees include preplant stubble discing, preplant subsoiling, and landplaning.  Field maintenance services include weed abatement, irrigation services, soil maintenance, planting, harvesting, disposal, and others. 

Mechanic shop

Russell Ranch operates a mechanic shop that provides fabrication, maintenance, and repair services for a large variety of agricultural and heavy equipment. 

Barn Rental

The Russell Ranch Facility has a Barn that can be set up and rented for a variety of extension events or other activities.  Barn Rental rates available upon request.

Equipment Rental

Russell Ranch maintains the CA&ES agricultural equipment pool.  Equipment rates available upon request.
